Summer is unofficially here and nothing says so more to me than parking my paper-thonged butt in front of the flat screen, flippin’ on the USA channel and watching the new seasons of a couple of my favorite returning shows:
- Burn Notice – the one involving the hot spy who once rubbed shoulders with My Love at a Miami hotel.
- White Collar – one of Murphy’s favorite shows because it includes another loveable Lab who follows at Tiffani Thiessen’s heels
To celebrate their return (Burn Notice on June 14; White Collar on July 10), I’m giving away DVD sets of Burn Notice - Season 5 and White Collar - Season 3. To win one of these, just leave me a comment below – any comment --by noon EDT, June 7, and you are entered in a random drawing. If you prefer one show to the other, say so – otherwise it will be dealer’s choice on the prizes. Simple as that.
Do you know how much I love these show...Burn Notice is the best. Worth a trip to the Magic City. White Collar is so classy. My kids watch them and love them.
ReplyDeleteThe girls and I even watched Glee to catch a glimpse of Matt Bomer's eyes. Does this count as two entries for White Collar?
ReplyDeleteSweet. I just got started watching Burn Notice and I really like it so far! I kept looking at Jeffery Donovan wondering where I had seen him before... He was the totally crazy guy in Blair Witch 2! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love watching home town boys on TV and in movies. Jeffery Donovan was born in Massachusetts! Love Burn Notice, gives me and the husband great ideas!
ReplyDeleteAt my sexiest when I comment? Yikes! *runs off to do my hair and apply lipstick* Burn Notice, please! And holy crapoli... I don't understand all of these ways to comment, so hope I choose correctly. It's like a test, right? :-D
ReplyDeletei would love to have the White Collar DVD! I feel like the series gets better as each season passes. :)

Kelly from Saved By The Bell is pretty awesome, but Ash from Evil Dead is pure genius! Burn Notice makes me want to narrate my own life, but detailing the intricacies of conning a con is way more interesting than monologuing about the best way to make a grilled cheese sandwich.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win the season 3 DVD of "White Collar" because I'm a longtime teen fan (don't get those very often) who enjoys sophisticated television as opposed to the reality stuff that so many of my peers indulge in.
ReplyDeleteI love Burn Notice - it's such a great show and Fiona is a great, strong female character (hope they get her out of jail!)

I do prefer white collar to burn notice, I probably could try to get into burn notice, but there are so many good shows you could watch, can't be getting into everything that would just be sad! Latest shows I got into are 'hit & miss' and 'Grimm'
ReplyDeleteCool! I like both series! Jeffrey Donovan is excellent!
ReplyDeleteWould love DVDs!

ReplyDeleteAs a self-proclaimed TV JUNKIE both of these shows are on my MUST SEE list. My mother and I talk over the episodes for HOURS! Good family fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI miss my bloggers, I just hardly ever have a chance to get in and read blogs anymore :( It's nice to know that my blog peeps are out there, porentially watching the very same thing at the very same time as I am watching.
I love Burn Notice! I am amazed it is still so good five seasons in but they do a great job keeping you guessing and making it feel fresh.
ReplyDeleteHuge Burn Notice fan - watching the marathon on USA right now (and every Thursday). Got into White Collar season two and enjoy that show, too. Both have excellent writers that create a cast you feel you know and could be friends with! Thanks for the chance to win! Nice way to start the summer!
